There are moments when you meet someone and instantly feel it — the same energy, the same way of seeing the world. No long conversations are needed; sometimes a glance or a few words are enough. That quiet recognition has always fascinated me. “Ember to Ember” was born from that feeling. The song is about the spark people carry within them and how that spark grows stronger when like-minded souls find each other. While writing it, I often thought about the Cathars, Druids, and many others who held onto their inner light even in difficult times, but I also connect it to this time, because we still get extra strength when we meet like-minded people.
